A brand new, state-of-the-art facility coming soon for Sci High
Sci High has launched a capital campaign to build a much-needed new school facility in BioDistrict New Orleans. The private fundraising effort will supplement a $32 million investment from the Orleans Parish School Board. With great momentum, in only four months we have secured commitments totaling over $550,000, over $300,000 of which was generously donated through 100% participation of the governance boards of Sci High (The Advocates) and the Foundation for Science and Mathematics Education.
We need your partnership to reach the goal of $1,000,000.
Monies raised as a result of this campaign effort could serve as a potential 1:3 match for capital outlay funds should an appropriation be granted by our state. Campaign investments will enable Sci High to serve and support a greater number of students in compelling new ways, providing them with the tools they need to determine their own destination and empowering them with the knowledge they must have to change the trajectory of our city.
